Develop your 145 Mentors with our Special Offer until the end of May 2021 – Please see below:
Introduction – Considering the Value of Mentoring in the Workplace
Mentoring in the workplace is an effective (both in terms of cost and outcomes) process between colleagues for the purposes of learning and growth.
Having a knowledgeable and skilled person who is able to fulfill the role of mentor within the workplace can be accepted as a workable solution where the mentor as a more experienced employee is providing guidance advice and support to new or employees within a business area.
Informal mentoring is less effective as it does not support effective metrics or the promotion of diversity. To avoid biases and “lack of coverage,” mentoring in the workplace needs to be established as ‘formal mentoring’ in this way, providing the best possible organizational process for a minimal expenditure – A true Win / Win Situation.
