Regulatory Background

In accordance with the above reference, AMC EASA Requires Organisational Assessment of the training needs for relevant Part CAMO Staff related to:

» AMC 20-22 ‘Electrical Wiring Interconnection System’ (EWIS)

» AMC 20-20 ‘Continuing Structural Integrity Programme’

» Critical Design Configuration Control’ (CDCCL).

Introducing AMC 20-20 Background & Purpose

EASA issued AMC 20-20 to provide guidance to type-certificate holders, STC holders, repair approval holders, maintenance organizations, operators, and competent authorities related to:

¨ Developing a continuing structural integrity program to ensure safe operation of aging aircraft throughout their operational life

¨ Including provision to preclude Widespread Fatigue Damage.

Course Details

Sofema Online provides a training program to update CAMO team members to the latest regulations, including an introduction to both EASA Part CAMO & SMS for Part CAMO.

The program consists of 4 separate courses:

» Introducing the delegate to EASA Part CAMO

  as well as

» The Regulations driving SMS for CAMO.

» AMC 20-20 is covered in detail, and the final course addresses

» The differences to EASA Part M introduced by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1383 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/270.
