Are Sofema Online Certificates Approved by EASA / FAA?

We are often requested by prospective clients to provide our Approved Training Organisation (ATO) Approval Reference or our Maintenance Training Organisation Approval (MTOA) ATO approval is for training Pilots & Cabin Crew (and nothing else!) whereas MTOA approval is for training Part 66 Engineers in both Basic & Type Training (and nothing else).

Please be advised that there is no Regulatory Approval Associated with Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation Approval (CAMO) related to "Training" moreover EASA does not approve regulatory training courses for "any organization". This role is left to the responsible Operator or Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) to approve and accept the content.

Sofema Aviation Services holds EASA Part 147 approval together with our training partner AETS and we have issued over 30 000 regulatory training course certificates, which are accepted by EASA regulatory authorities as evidence that training has been completed. (The same applies to FAA related training courses.)
