
The Fuel Tank Safety courses comply with EASA ED 2009/007/R, which lays down the mandatory requirements.
Electrical Wiring Interconnection System training is required by AMC 20-22 and FAA AC 120-94, and covers training not only for maintenance staff, but also handling staff and aircrew. The AMC categorises staff into 8 ‘Target Groups’.
- Groups 1 and 2 are for staff working on or inspecting wiring systems. - Group 3 is for Qualified staff performing electrical/avionic engineering on in-service aircraft (e.g. electric/avionic engineers). - Groups 4 and 5 covers licensed and unlicensed maintenance staff working on aircraft and components. - Groups 6, 7 and 8 are handling staff and aircrew.
This training course is relevant to groups 7 & 8 and may be completed in approximately 2 hours.
