EASA OPS Regulation 965/2012 establishes detailed rules for commercial air transport operations involving airplanes and helicopters, including ramp inspections of aircraft from operators under the safety oversight of another State, when they land at aerodromes located in territories subject to the provisions of the Treaty.

This foundational course aims to familiarize operational and relevant personnel with a basic understanding of the structure and environment of EASA Regulation 965, with a focus on the Management System, SMS, and Compliance Monitoring.

Additionally, the course seeks to enhance understanding of operator monitoring processes, particularly in relation to Compliance and Safety.

A practical understanding of the EASA regulatory environment is essential for operational staff, business area owners, nominated persons, and other stakeholders. Staff are expected to have a detailed knowledge of the EASA Part OPS structure and environment, with an emphasis on Compliance Monitoring and the associated AMC & GM procedures.
