What is EWIS? EWIS Stands for Electrical Wiring Interconnect System, and it is an abbreviation for something which has been around a long time. In fact any wiring, even a single wire may be considered as EWIS.

An essential part of this training is to meet the objectives of the Lesson Plans – as required by AMC 20-22.

Assessment or achieving the objectives should be at the discretion of the training organisation (such as written test, oral test or demonstration of skills). – Need to demonstrate to Quality Audit & Regulators.

Supporting documentation such as AMC material is an integral part of training.

The training syllabus and curriculum for those personnel directly involved in the maintenance and inspection of EWIS, identified as Target Group 1 and 2, are in Appendix A and C to AMC 20-22.
