GCAA EWIS Initial Training Bridging Module

UAE GCAA CAR 145 Initial.v2

The UAE GCAA requires EWIS personnel to meet national training and competence standards in accordance with GCAA AMC 001, CAR-145.30(e) and CAR-M.706(f). This Bridging Training provides the additional regulatory context necessary for personnel who have completed EASA EWIS Initial training to operate in full compliance under UAE approval.

It connects the EASA AMC 20-22 framework to the GCAA’s implementation of AMC 001 and its target-group structure, ensuring that maintenance and inspection staff meet UAE-specific oversight and documentation expectations. As the training requirements under EASA AMC 20-22 and GCAA AMC 001 are aligned in scope and intent, the Bridging module formally carries the delegate’s EASA qualification into conformity with the GCAA regulatory system.
