FAA FAR-145 Recurrent

FAA UAE Regulations 09Brochure ButtonAn FAA approval authorization issued to a CRS located outside the United States is termed a geographical approval and permits maintenance to be performed in support of a contract for a U.S. air carrier (or an operator of U.S.-registered aircraft under 14 CFR Part 129) at a location other than the repair station facility.

FAA 14 CFR Part 145 is one of the most mature aviation regulations. It underwent a major amendment in 2004 which was the most comprehensive change in nearly 20 years and since that time there have been further amendments to promote harmonisation with its European equivalent - EASA Part 145.

This training is aimed at Supervisors, Inspectors and Mechanics performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations of an aircraft, airframe, aircraft engine, propeller, appliance, or component part to which 14 CFR Part 43 applies.

It is assumed that those taking this course have received Indoctrination (initial) of U.S. 14 CFR Part 145 – Repair Stations rules, and therefore this training intends only to refresh specific rules considered essential for ensuring maintenance performance standards remain compliant and are upheld to the highest standards.
