Why is Dangerous Goods Training Required?

Driven by ICAO Technical Instructions all staff who are either directly or indirectly involved in the transport of goods classed as dangerous by air, road, sea, rail, or inland waterway, must receive training appropriate to their job. The scope and content of this training is defined in law.

According to the Technical Instructions staff are divided into categories according to the training required appropriate to each category.

The www.easaonline.com on-line training courses on this website are designed to meet specific aspects related to awareness regarding these requirements.

The DG training requirements are quite comprehensive and are intended to ensure that everyone who is in some way potentially exposed to the possibility of Dangerous Goods shipment whether it is intentionally declared or unintentionally miss declared.

What Does EOL Dangerous Goods Training Cover?

Each DG training on EASAOnline.com is individually developed to provide the maximum benefit to the delegate, to recognize the need to provide multimedia content and phase exams. There is an exam at the end of each of the training presentations, after you successfully pass the exam you will be able to download and print out your certificate.

The training should provide an awareness of the general provisions of the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), an understanding of the different classes of hazard and guidance on how to identify dangerous goods which are presented as passenger baggage or cargo.
