Responsibilities & Duties of the CAM:

a) Managing Competence - to ensure all employees develop their technical skills and knowledge and are able to perform their daily tasks and satisfy customer requirements.

b) Select appropriate training courses for all levels of staff

c) Develop Continuing Airworthiness Policy

d) Manage the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)

e) Analysis of the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programme

f) Selection of the 145 maintenance organisation

g) Supporting the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the Quality Control System required by CAR M.712 is effective in its application

h) Monitoring the implementation of the Maintenance Programmes

i) Ensure Embodiment of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Modifications

j) Oversight and monitoring of Line and base maintenance

k) Ensure the management and oversight of the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) Process for each Aircraft
