What are the Typical Duties of a Maintenance Control Centre Technical Documentation Manager:

Reporting to the Maintenance Control Manager, MCC Technical Library Manager ensures that all publications and libraries required for the support of the operation by the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) remain current. 

The MCC Technical Library Manager also ensures the distribution of amendments to all manuals are tracked using a combination of electronic signatures or paper receipts duly signed and returned by the manual holder.

» Maintain and revise the MCC library soft copy and hard copy (if applicable) including but not limited to the following:

o   Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)

o   Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC)

o   Structure Repair Manual (SRM)

o   Wiring Diagram Manual (WDM)

o   Standard Practices Manual (SPM)

o   Trouble Shooting Manual (TSM)

o   Minimum Equipment List (MEL)

o   Engine & APU Maintenance Manual

o   Vendor and OEM Manuals

o   Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)

» Ensure Outstations have access to current & applicable approved maintenance data – update and revise each aircraft library with current publications.
» Procure publications and manage subscription accounts related to all required documents & Manuals.
» Organize, manage, and maintain all document storage in accordance with regulatory requirements
» Maintain a master log of all manuals, including electronic
» Troubleshoot and investigate any problem/missing paperwork
» Ensure all documentation and related control procedures comply with regulatory obligations
» Implement corrective actions for audit deficiencies in areas in which you have control and/or responsibility
» Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
» Complete MCC administrative duties as assigned
»Support Special projects and other duties as assigned.
